Maintaining Your Credential in "Good Standing"
You may use the CISSP from this day forward, subject to the (ISC)2 Logo Guidelines (www.isc2.org/logo-usage) - as long as your certification remains in good standing. You can remain in good standing by meeting periodic recertification requirements, such as:

• Adhering to the (ISC)2 Code of Ethics (www.isc2.org/ethics);
• Submitting your Annual Maintenance Fees (AMFs) upon receipt of your annual invoice; and
• Completing and submitting the required number of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits. For more information, see the CPE Guidelines (www.isc2.org/cpe-policies) on the (ISC)2 Member Website.

Your CISSP is valid for a period of three years. The three year certification cycle begins on the first day of the next month. You may not claim CPE credits for activities prior to the beginning of your certification cycle.

At the end of each three-year certification cycle, if the above requirements are met, your CISSP certification will be renewed for a subsequent three-year certification cycle. When your requirements are met, our system will automatically renew your certification near the end of the month in which it expires and you will receive a new ID card and certificate bearing the expiration date of your next certification cycle.

CISSP Certificate 유지를 위해 3년간 120 CPE Credit이 요구되며, CPE 시간은 3년마다 한번만 보고 하시면 됩니다.

※ 2008년 4월 30일 이후 CPE Policy가 변경 사항으로 4월 30일 이후 CISSP ACTIVE가 되거나, 4월 30일 이후 CISSP로 갱신(Recertificate)이 필요한 응시자는 매년 20 CPE를 의무적으로 보고하며 3년에 Total 120 CPE를 (ISC)² Web Site상에서 보고 해야만 합니다

마지막 주기의 6개월 동안 교육 받아 입력한 CPE중 120 CPE를 초과한 분량은 다음 주기로 이동 가능합니다.

(ISC)²는 CPE 보고 내용에 관해 감사대상을 선출하여 이를 검토하므로 모든 보고 내용에 관한 증빙서류는 3년의 주기 이후 최소 12개월까지 보관하여야 합니다.

                = 80 Hours + 40 Hours
                = 120 Hours

                 ● Interviewing techniques

CPE Credit Type
CPE Credit은 아래와 같은 활동 참여로 취득하실 수 있으며, 대부분의 경우 1시간의 교육 이수는 1CPE로 인정됩니다.

● Educational Courses and Seminars
  : 일반적인 훈련이수 혹은 교육세미나에 참석한 경우에 해당
● Conference
  : 보안관련 Conference에 참석한 경우 Group A, 기타 Conference 참석시에는 Group B
    에 해당
● Professional Association Chapter Meetings
  : 전문적인 협회나 단체의 총회에 참석 시에 해당
● Vendor Presentations
  : 보안관련 Vendor 회의 또는 Seminor에 참석했을 경우에 해당(Seminor는 보안방법, 기
    술, 실무에 관한 교육적인 측면을 포함하고 있어야 합니다 Sales Presentation은 제외)
● Completing a Higher Academic Course
  : 상급 대학교육이수활동의 경우에 해당
● Providing Security Training
  : 보안 전문 강의를 제공하였을 경우 1시간 강의에 4CPE(ex. 2시간 강의 = 8CPE)
● Publication of A Article or Book
  : 하나의 보안관련 기사 발행의 경우 10CPE가 인정 되며, 보안관련 도서를 발간할 경우
    40CPE가 인정됩니다.
● Board Services for a Professional Security Organization
  : 보안 전문 기관의 위원회에서 회원, 기사 투고, 또는 기타 승인된 자원봉사 등의 활동에 해
    당하며 활동에 대한 공헌 정도에 따라 CPE시간이 산출 됩니다(최대 40CPE)
● Self-study, Computer-Based Training(CBT) or Web Cast
  : 독학, 컴퓨터기반교육, 인터넷 방송을 통한 교육의 경우에 해당이며 학습자료와 검증된 이
    수완료서류 등을 Audit으로 선정될 경우를 대비하여 보관해야 합니다. 특히 인터넷 방송을
    통한 교육의 경우 해당 방송정보의 스크린 샷 및 방송제작자의 이메일, 제공자료, 이수시간
    에 대한 확인서 등을 보관해야 합니다.
● Read Information Security Book / Magazine
  : 하나의 보안관련 전문도서 및 보안 잡지 구독에 해당하며 각각 5CPE로 인정되며 1년에
    도서 1권 및 잡지 1 구독까지 입력이 가능하여 1년에 이를 통해 획득 가능한 이수시간은
    10CPE가 됩니다. Audit 대상에 선정될 경우를 대비하여 도서/잡지의 "보유증명"을 보관
    해야 합니다.(제목/저자 or 발행인/ISBN번호(도서의 경우) 정보가 기록되어 있어야 하며
    Audit대상에 선정될 경우 실제 도서, 구매영수증, 송장, 도서관 기록, 구독 및 구매 양식의
    복사본 등을 제출해야 합니다.)
● Submission / Publication of Information Security Book Review
  : 보안관련 전문도서의 Review를 (ISC)² web site상에 게시할 경우 (ISC)²협회에서
    CPE를 부여(최대 5 CPE)
● Government, Public Sector, and other Caritable Organizations Volunteering
  : 정부, 공공기관, 기타 기부단체에서 정보보안관련 자원 활동을 하신 경우에 해당

CPE Credit Report
CPE Credit 보고는 AMF 납부와 마찬가지로 (ISC)² web site상에서 Member Login 후 입력하시면 됩니다.

MEMBER LOG IN → CPEs → View/Edit My CPEs → ADD CPEs → CPE Submission Form작성 → Save 

※ CPE Submission Form 작성
● Apply CPE to Credential/Concentration: CISSP CPE선택
● Domain for CPE Credit: 입력하시려는 CPE의 Domain을 선택
● Activity Start Date: 시작 날짜를 입력(MM/DD/YYYY)
● CPE Type: CPE Type을 입력(ex. Vendor Presentations)
● Vendor Name: Vendor명을 입력(ex. CISCO)
● Other: 기타 사항기입(ex. CISCO Next Generation Security Product Seminor)
● Number of Hours Completed: 해당 CPE Type으로 획득 가능한 CPE입력
